FYI, my cellphone has stopped working. i think its just the battery not charging because its old, and i'm in the process of thinking about buying a new battery, so i should have it working again soon. but if you were planning on calling me, it would be better to write at firstname.lastname@gmail.com, at least for the next couple of days.

It's kind of ironic, because I actually tried calling you yesterday.
1) you don't want your name online
2) posting your email will get t snatched up by spammers' page cralwing programs.
that's why you sometimes see on forums people saying email me at "john dot doe at gmail dot com" or similar,. they're trying to fool the spam programs.
edited to avoid the same as you suggested.
