big commitment

i just signed up to do my first full ironman next summer. i've been thinking about it for a couple of years now, so i'm pretty excited to actually be signed up for it. that's a big deal in itself because you have to sign up about a year in advance since there are a limited number of spots. anyway, now i just need to learn how to go that far.
