return to the blogosphere
so i slacked off on the blogging for a good month or two there and i'm sorry about that for those couple of you who read this. i got sort of sick of being on the computer at work all the time and could never get myself to do any recreational typing. but i finished work friday and now i have all sorts of free time to fill you in on my life. this will not include pictures of this summer because i put that off until the last day of work and it was raining all day- sorry mom.
work was really good. like i think i wrote at the beginning of it all, i was working in antitrust litigation, defending a company against a claim that it had unfairly excluded competitors from the market. i'm not sure if that's interesting or boring to people who aren't me, so i will hold off on writing about it unless somebody makes a point of saying they care about it. anyway, i liked it, and i'm planning on taking an antitrust class this fall to take advantage of what i learned.
i'm back in manhattan now, living in a pretty cool apartment about a block from the south western tip of central park. the city is much more enjoyable in the summer than the winter, and when you're living in a fun part of town rather than up by columbia. if you want pictures of this place, tell me and i will promise to take them and then forget to do it. but a better plan yet would be for you to visit.
this week is basically a vacation for me but i'm going to be spending a lot of time getting ready for job interviews which start on thursday. suits are at the drycleaners. and i have an pretty serious collection of dress shirts and ties ready to go. i'm sure i'll post more about the whole process as things develop.
anyway, those are the basic facts of my life right now. hopefully i'll post again before september...
